After installing a plugin (i.e. Control-M for SAP, Peoplesoft, Advanced File Transfer, etc.) the plugin does not appear in the Control-M Configuration Manager GUI?
Cause: The Control-M/Server has not yet interrogated the Control-M/Agent for a new list of installed plugins (CMs)
Solution: 1. Wait for the Control-M Server to interrogate the Control-M Agent for the new list of installed Control-M Module.
2. One can use the 'ctmgetcm' utility to force the Control-M/Server to interrogate the Control-M/Agent for a list of installed plugins. The CCM will update shortly after this list is returned. The command to issue on the Control-M/Server is: ctmgetcm -NODEID {agent_hostname} -APPLTYPE "*" -ACTION get
Addtional Information: If the Control-M Server platform is Windows 2012, please issue the ctmgetcm command with "run as adminstrator" permission as below procedure - Right click the cmd.exe (one can use the search feature to find it) - Select 'run as administrator' - Issue the ctmgetcm command
