In TrueSight Capacity Optimization (TSCO) we've encountered a problem with one of our ETL's. The ETL aborts every day causing an error message: FATAL - Program abnormally terminated [java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space] |
For TrueSight Capacity Optimization (TSCO) Scheduler or TSCO Service Extractor (such as the vCenter Service Extractor) java.lang.OutofMemoryErrors see 000095675: In BCO an ETL or the BCO Scheduler is terminating with a Program abnormally terminated [java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded] error. This KA pertains only to standard CO Java ETLs. For all TSCO versionsEdit the $CPITBASE/customenvpre.sh Find the following section: #ETL_HEAP_SIZE="512m" Remove the comments from the two lines and change the ETL_HEAP_SIZE to the desired value. For example, replace the 512m, that represents the heap, with 768m or 1024m. When done the entry should look like this (with an higher value and without the # to comment out values): ETL_HEAP_SIZE="1024m" Save the file. |
