When a deployment is partially successful (failed on specific Control-M/Agents) and you need to manually undeploy the job type from the Control-M Agent, please follow the instructions below.

This also applies to Control-M Application Integrator job types that were deployed via the Control-M Automation API, such as Control-M Integrations jobs.

On Unix:

1. Start by first backing up the <agent home>/ctm/data/CONFIG.dat file
2. Edit the <agent home>/ctm/data/CONFIG.dat file
3. Locate the lines starting with CMLIST, CMLIST_64_LIST, CM_LIST_SENT2CTMS and delete the Job Type values from the list (values separated by a '|' character)
4. Backup the <agent home>/ctm/data/APPLMAP.dat file
5. Edit the <agent home>/ctm/data/APPLMAP.dat file
6. Locate the section [APPLTYPE]
7. Locate the line "<job type name> AI" and delete it
8. Navigate to the directory <agent home>/ctm/cm/AP/data/AI/apps-repo
9. Delete the <job type> directory
10. Remove the job types you wish to delete from <agent home>/ctm/cm/AP/data/AI/apps-repo/deployed_jobs.dat
11. Restart the agent with the command "shut-ag;start-ag"

On Windows:

1. Run regedit.exe to edit the Windows registry
2. Locate the keys: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BMC Software\Control-M/Agent\ {if non-default: Agent name} \CONFIG\CMLIST"
3. Backup this key
4. Delete the job type value from the CMLIST (values are separated by '|')
5. Do the same steps 3-4 with the following keys if exist:
6. "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BMC Software\Control-M/Agent\ {if non-default: Agent name} \CONFIG\CMLIST_64_LIST"
7. "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BMC Software\Control-M/Agent\ {if non-default: Agent name} \CONFIG\CM_LIST_SENT2CTMS"
8. Edit the file <agent home>\DATA\APPLMAP.dat
9. Backup this file
10. Find the section [APPLTYPE]
11. Locate the line "<job type name> AI" and delete it
12. Navigate to the <agent home>\CM\AP\data\AI\apps-repo directory
13. Delete the <job type> directory
14. Remove the job types you wish to delete from <agent home>\CM\AP\data\AI\apps-repo\deployed_jobs.dat
15. Restart the Control-M/Agent service

NOTE: The changes made may take some time to reflect in the Control-M Configuration Manager as well as the output from the ctmgetcm command on the Control-M/Server.
