Problem

An IBM IMS FDBR region S0C4 abend occurs in module DLAXRELx when the following conditions exist:

-You are running a supported IBM IMS version.
-You have version 6.9.00 of one of the listed products installed on the system.
-You have an IBM IMS Fast Database Recovery (FDBR) region enabled.
-You have an IBM IMS Directory (using IMS Managed ACBs) enabled.
-You execute a DELTA IMS DB or APPLCTN ADD, DELETE, REVISE, or RELOAD request on the IMS associated with its FDBR region.

Cause

Solution

DELTA IMS has been modified to support IMS FDBR regions in a managed ACB environment.

PTF BQQ4735 resolves this issue.

Note: After applying PTF BQQ4735, you must restart both the IMS control region and its associated FDBR region (with any type of restart) to make the change effective.
