The BMC Assisted MIGration Offering (AMIGO) program is designed to assist you with planning the upgrade of your BMC Atrium Orchestrator / TrueSight Orchestration (TSO) product and help you have a smooth transition when moving to a new version.
This program is offered through BMC Support. Download and complete the upgrade checklist and sample upgrade plan, then create the first of three Support issues:
- The AMIGO Starter, which includes:
- Providing your filled checklist and upgrade plan.
- Discussing your upgrade scenario with BMC Support.
- Answering any questions about how to complete your upgrade plan.
Once you have enough information to begin your upgrade plan customization, the AMIGO Starter issue will be closed.
- The AMIGO Review issue, which is opened at least two weeks before your upgrade date and includes:
- Reviewing your completed upgrade plan.
- Answering any final questions.
Once the Review is complete, the AMIGO Review issue will be closed.
- The AMIGO Implementation issue, which is opened at least twenty-four hours before the upgrade date and time.
- Notifying the BMC on-call team about your upgrade date and time.
- Your environment related details should be available on the issue.
- In case of any hiccups you can raise a critical ticket with BMC Support, who will be involved on priority.
Once the implementation/upgrade is complete, the AMIGO Implementation issue will be closed.
Download the spreadsheet which contains the upgrade checklist and sample upgrade plans. After you fill out the upgrade checklist tab, open an AMIGO Starter issue with BMC Support (if you have not already done this) and attach the spreadsheet.
BMC Helix Support will contact you after reviewing this information.
