- NOTE: The conversion process is subject to quick adaptation and does NOT wait for any official maintenance to be maintained.
This is true for the Conversion Package and the documentation.

By default:

- The BMC conversion team maintain an up to date conversion package containing the highest maintenance level.
This package can be downloaded from the link:
https://control-m-conversion.s3.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com/Control-M_MF_Conversion_Latest/Index.html

- The file downloaded is a binary file representing a PDS compressed by AMATERSE utility.
The file name is like:
SCM.MANUF.R900.CONV.Cyymmdd.CONV.TRS
where yymmdd is the creation date of this file.
Sample: 
SCM.MANUF.R900.CONV.C250727.CONV.TRS is from 27/07/2025
 
- Sample JCL to UNTERSE the conversion library in a PDS.

Currently the size of the CONVLIB library is around 1000 CYL for 7 members and 2 directory blocks.

- The last conversion package can be used to install again the conversion tools or to apply the latest maintenance on the current conversion installation being used.
Only the new PTFs will be applied.

- When editing the uncompressed/untersed PDS the Created & Changed date in the directory reflect the latest update on this PDS.

- As the conversion tool documentation is changing quickly, there is no more packaging of the conversion manuals in a zipped file.

- The implementation of each Conversion tool is explained in the corresponding Manual listed in the A-Z Supported Product List.
 
- The Conversion program installation is supported by IOAICE (SMP/E),
read the manual before starting!
