Getting below error while installation of PatrolAgent on the server:

RunSilentInstall.sh: line 120: ./validate.LINUX-X64: Permission denied

 

OR

 

PATROL Installer: Installer process started...
RunSilentInstall.sh: line 548: Install/instbin/install.sh: Permission denied

 

 

 


 
The permission to execute the command on /tmp and /var . ( mount output shows it has the option "noexec" )

Either provide the required permission to PatrolAgent account or extract the install image to the other directory.
For Example:  $HOME  then
start ./RunSilentInstall.sh .

Also check if there is noexec set for /opt file system.
