Some schedule products are currently not supported by the Control-M Conversion Tool for DS.

HelpSystems Automate
NetIQ
MoveIT
Reveal
StoneBranch
ActiveBatch scheduler
 

The Control-M Self Conversion is a generic engine that allows BMC Partners, Control-M SC’s, BMC Professional Services and Control-M existing Customers to create custom made conversion from any Scheduling tool, Application or homegrown by themselves, but it has 3 clear prerequisites:

  1. Ability to extract Scheduling Data (Input Data) to XML file or files.
  2. Understand the mapping logic from Input Scheduling Data into Control-M Folders and Jobs.
  3. Ability to Read/Write Groovy code + Conversion API
Groovy code is a subset of Java language.
The Control-M Self Conversion rules created can be imported / exported in JSON format.
