Problem

Datastage jobs submitted to Control-M Agent do not track the correct status, however the job completes fine in Datastage. The Sysout of the job will usually include the following message repeated multiple times:

Could not obtain status from Datastage Server for tracking...

Cause

CAR00049299 - Job ended in DataStage but stays in executing state in Control-M.

Solution

A restricted point patch PADSG.8.0.00.007 is available to address the problem. Please contact customer support for the relevant patch files.
