Problem

After upgrading Control-M Application Pack to version 9.0.19.200, getting error "CTM6781 Failed to connect to Web Server. CURL error message: Failed to connect to localhost port 39580" observed when validating connection profile from Control-M Configuration Manager.

Following message can be observed on apmanager.log,
INFO [id981] (ApplicationPackStarter:296) - Control-M Application Pack Server did not start successfully

Cause

Corrupted Control-M Application Pack installation

Solution

- Backup any existing Control Module connection profile definition & configuration files existing under $HOME/ctm/cm/AP/data/<relevant Control Module>

- Uninstall Control-M Application Pack and re-install Control-M Application Pack 9.0.19.200 on Control-M/Agent.
- Copy back Control Module connection profile definition
