Configure PATROL Agent(PA) service to start automatically on server reboot - Red Hat 8.x

If user missed to edit /etc/inti.d/PatrolAgent file (step 3), RHEL 8.x won't allow to enable the service and below error message will come:
 

[root@server system]# systemctl enable PatrolAgent
Synchronizing state of PatrolAgent.service with SysV service script with /usr/lib/systemd/systemd-sysv-install.
Executing: /usr/lib/systemd/systemd-sysv-install enable PatrolAgent
service PatrolAgent does not support chkconfig

1.Create a PatrolAgent.service script in the /tmp directory with below content (change 'User' PA user is different tha 'patrol') :

[Unit]
Description=BMC Patrol Agent
After=network.target syslog.target local-fs.target

[Service]
Type=simple
User=patrol
ExecStart=/opt/bmc/Patrol3//scripts.d/S50PatrolAgent.sh start 3181
ExecStop=/opt/bmc/Patrol3//scripts.d/S50PatrolAgent.sh stop
Restart=no
RemainAfterExit=1

[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target  

2.After the script is created, execute below command:

chmod +x PatrolAgent.service

3. Edit the /etc/inti.d/PatrolAgent file adding below lines after #!/bin/sh

# Provides: PatrolAgent
# Required-Start: $remote_fs $network $local_fs
# Required-Stop: $remote_fs $network $local_fs
# Default-Start: 2 3 5
# Default-Stop: 0 1 6
# Short-Description: PatrolAgent
# Description: PatrolAgent
### END INIT INFO

4.Copy the PatrolAgent.service script from the /tmp directory to the /etc/systemd/system directory
5.Reload the systemd process to consider newly created PatrolAgent.service:

systemctl daemon-reload

6.Enable this service to start after reboot automatically.

systemctl enable PatrolAgent.service

7.If PA is running then kill the process and restart the service by entering the below command:

systemctl start PatrolAgent.service

8. To test the script, reboot the server and check the PA status after the server is started

systemctl reboot
