Toleration Support
Compuware has successfully tested all currently supported releases of Compuware products for toleration support with the new IBM z15 processor, machine type 8562, model T02.

Toleration support means that Compuware products function as expected when running on the new z15 T02 processor, while not involving any newfeatures introduced or supported by the new z15 T02 processor.

Active Exploitation Support Projects
Compuware is actively evaluating, designing, and enabling our products to support various new features on the IBM z15 T02. Active projects are those listed below and described in theIBM z15 T02 announcement letter.
 

• Support the IBM z15 instruction set –   resulting in faster execution times for those critical applications.
• Support ARCH(13) compiler option for IBM z15 – support exploiting newz15 instructions in newest compilers.
• Support System Recovery Boost – expedite everything needed to get back up and ready for workload execution.

Required PTFs for Toleration
This information includes initial maintenance available to provide Day 1   support for IBM z15 T02:
 

• There are currently no required maintenance PTFs for z15 T02 toleration.
