Control-M/Enterprise Manager might order a different job than the one selected when: - the Control-M/Server is version 9.0.21, and - the job is in a Regular folder, and - the folder contains 10 or more jobs This can occur when ordering jobs from the WLA client, Web UI, or Automation API. NOTE: if the folder is a Smart folder, an error will occur instead and the job will not be ordered as follows : When trying to to order one job from the folder , this error is generated : ============= Action:order failed order: failed Folder : '<smartfoldername>';job name ' <jobname>' not found. ============ On BMC Helix Control-M, the error "job not found" is prompted. |
CTM-7431 is resolved in patch PANFT.9.0.21.001. As patch PANFT.9.0.21.002 is cumulative, and includes all changes delivered in patch PANFT.9.0.21.001, we suggest installing patch 002 with the steps from the following link: https://docs.bmc.com/docs/controlm/90201/control-m-em-panft-9-0-21-002-1156710648.html. As an alternative solution for ordering ad hoc jobs until the above-mentioned patched is installed, the Control-M/Server utilities ctmpsm or ctmorder can be used. On BMC Helix Control-M there's no temporary solution while CTM-7431 is released. |
