History reports may fail with an error: "Unexpected end of JSON input" when Control-M/Enterprise Manager was upgraded from version below 9.0.20.000 or if you are currently on version below 9.0.20.000. The failure occurs when data point include dates in year 2025.

Note: If you were provided with a workaround for this issue, you should still apply the solution below, as additional recovery features have been added.  

The attached utilities updates the date_index and net_report tables in the Control-M/EM database. The utility ensures that these tables are up-to-date and performs backups and updates, as necessary. This utility also replaces DATE_INDEX.INI file in the templates folder in case database needs to be rebuild in the future. This utility is required on all versions of Control-M/EM that were upgraded from a version earlier than 9.0.20.000 or are still running version below 9.0.20.000

Installing the utility attached:
1. Log in to the primary Control-M/EM machine.
2. Download attachment and Unzip history_reports_patch (1).zip to a temporary directory.
    * For Windows the temporary directory must not contain spaces (e.g. C:\cmtpatch and not C:\ctm patch)
3. Run the provided script file and provide DBO password:
    * Windows: history_reports_patch_installer.bat
    * UNIX: history_reports_patch_installer.sh
4. Follow the on-screen instructions until the script completes running.
    Progress messages are added to the log and printed on-screen.
    Note: This patch does not update the installed-versions.txt file.
5. Restart all Control-M/EM Gateways.
