How to collect Outpost logs?

 

 
 
- On Prem procedure for Discovery 23.1+: 
 
  1. Go to Administration > Appliance Support
  2. Click on create
  3. Check the box of the relevant outpost
     
  4. Click on gather
  5. Send the resulting tgz file to BMC

 

- Saas/ADE/Helix Procedure: 
 
Zip/send the content of the Outpost's below folders to BMC.
    • <Outpost installation path>\log
    • <Outpost installation path>\runtime\<proxy>\log. You may want to select the logs of a specific proxy

The installation path is typically C:\Program Files\BMC Software\Discovery Outpost
