Steps to create a sharing rules for more than one Accounts: Note: Please follow KB article (https://communities.bmc.com/docs/DOC-62248) for creating a Text field for having the Account name on Incident object and Workflow rule to update the update the Account name . 1. Create a new user. 2. Assign that user to Account. 3. Create a new Role.Assign users to this Role. 4. Create a sharing Rule for Accounts based on Criteria. Criteria of sharing Rule - Account Name equals "Sample acount name". Useful information: There is an SFDC platform limit on sharing rules, which I think is currently set at 300 rules per object (including a maximum of 50 criteria based sharing rules). Hence best suggest to go for Apex class sharing rules if number of Accounts are greater than 50 in any Org. |
