NOTE In later versions of GnuPG (gpg), it appears that by default the application ignores the --batch option and still prompts for a password interactively, causing the AFT/MFT job to hang. This can be resolved by adding the following line to the gpg-agent.conf file: allow-loopback-pinentry (on Windows, this would be in c:\ProgramData\GNU\etc\gnupg\gpg-agent.conf, which you may need to create, including the directory structure). Then in the command-line for the decrypt, add the option: --pinentry-mode loopback |
