How to download Control-M or BMC Software Products (including Fix Packs and Patches) from Electronics Products Distribution (EPD)?

New Product Download Tool

The preferred method for downloading Control-M products is using the new Product Download Tool.
Information regarding this tool can be found at the following link:
https://www.bmc.com/support/resources/product-downloads.html (login required)

1. Log into https://www.bmc.com/support/resources/product-downloads.html with your BMC account login ID

2. Click on "Product Download Tool"

3. Fill in the required information and acknowledge the "Export Compliance and Access Terms.
    Check on the 'I agree' then click on 'Continue' button.

4.  Type in "Control-M" in the blank beside the "Products" to search for the licensed Control-M product and click "Enter".

5. Locate the product you are looking for on the list or refine your search in Step 4.

6. Click on the version of the Control-M product found.

7. Select either "Product" or "Patches" to download the required installation binary.

8. Check on the required product and click on the "Download" icon to start downloading.

Legacy EPD Tool

The following video demonstrates this solution using the Legacy EPD Tool, which is also discussed at the above link:

1. Log into https://www.bmc.com/support/support-central.html with your BMC account login ID

2. Click on "Downloads and Products" and select "Product Downloads (EPD)"

3. Fill in the required information and check in the 'I agree' then click on 'Continue' button.

4. Select "Licensed Products" for "View" under "Components View".

5. Type in "Control-M" in the blank beside the "Find", then click "Go".

6. Locate the product you are looking for and click on the "+" beside the product. Please note that Control-M Workload Automation has 3 main products, namely:
    (a) Control-M Enterprise Manager
    (b) Control-M/Server for UNIX and Microsoft Windows
    (c) Control-M/Agent for UNIX and Microsoft Windows

     For this example, click at "BMC Control-M/Agent for UNIX and Microsoft Windows"

7. The product list will be extended for various version or sub-products.
     Click on the "+" beside the required product.
     For example, "BMC Control-M/Agent for UNIX and Microsoft Windows 9.0.00"

8. The product list will be further extended to display the various platform and Operating System.

9. For previous release packages of the same major release click on Patches link. 
    This also includes the base release when Fix Packs are released.

10. Scroll down to find required platform and OS.
     For example, "Control-M/Agent Version 9.0.00 for UNIX and Microsoft Windows".
     Click on the "+" sign beside it.

11. Select the product required to download.

NOTE: The Control-M Workload Automation components found in step 6 may vary by license. Possible main product suites may include:
- Control-M Family for Enterprise (Task)
- Control-M Family for Distributed
- Control-M for Distributed Systems
- Control-M Workload Automation
