How do I enable the Audit and/or Annotation feature in Control-M Enterprise Manager, for example to record login and authentication activities?

Answer

For Control-M/Enterprise Manager 8.0.00
- Launch Control-M Configuration Manager ( CCM )
- Select Tools > System Configuration > Control-M/EM System Parameters
- Click "Audit and Annotation" on the left panel
- Check the "Enable Audit" or "Enable Annotation" Box to enable the feature
- Check on the respective box for the category
- Click on Activate Changes to apply the changes

For Control-M/Enterprise Manager 9.0.00 and above:
- Launch Control-M Configuration Manager ( CCM )
- Select "Home" Tab
- Click on the "Control-M EM: <Hostname>" under the "Components Tree
- Click on "System Parameters"
- Click "Audit and Annotation" on the left panel
- Check the "Enable Audit" or "Enable Annotation" Box to enable the feature
- Check on the respective box for the category
- Click on Activate Changes to apply the changes
