Currently Control-M's SNMP interface only supports SNMPv1.

You can send the alerts to a script that will invoke a SNMPv2 or SNMPv3 utility to create and send the trap. See the following video for information about sending SNMP traps to a script:



The following Requests for Enhancement have been created to consider the inclusion of this feature in future versions of Control-M/Enterprise Manager:

Control-M SaaS currently has a feature known as External Alerts as documented below that allows connection to various other tools including those using SNMPv2 or SNMPv3 among others.

For Self Hosted / On-Prem environments, External Alerts are continuing to be evaluated for future consideration with External Alerts, but no specific timeline has been determined.
