When using postman chrome extension I used to add SSL exceptions in chrome. Now after installing Postman standalone program, my exceptions no longer work

When SSL certificate verification option is enabled in Postman client, request initiated to self-signed certificate endpoint encounters error
Disable SSL certificate verification
SSL certificate verification can be disabled from File-> Settings-> General
