When enabling the SQL AlwaysOn feature, how is the ARS Database added to the Availability Group? |
This knowledge article may contain information that does not apply to version 21.05 or later which runs in a container environment. Please refer to Article Number 000385088 for more information about troubleshooting BMC products in containers. This is something outside the scope of BMC Support since the ARS Database instance will be as any other database and adding it to the Availability Group is something the DBA needs to perform or contact the Database vendor. The available documentation from Microsoft can be checked below: Availability Group - Add a Database Use the Add Database to Availability Group Wizard (SQL Server Management Studio) Related information: Remedy - Server - Installing the SQL AlwaysOn feature, does ARS supports "Always On Failover Cluster Instances", "Always On availability groups" or both? |
