I cannot launch the java webstart console anymore since i have update java to v. 201+ This is a know issue but it will not be fixed because Oracle Java is not supported anymore. Starting from 12.8 Hotfix 2 we have introduced support for OpenJDK instead. Once you will have updated your master to the latest hotfix available for 12.6, 12.7 or 12.8 you will not encounter this issue. Solution 1: Update your master to the latest hotfix available for 12.6, 12.7 or 12.8. For more information on how to use the new openjdk console, check this KA: Client Management: How to launch Java Web Start Package console Note: older versions are not supported anymore so they won't get support for openjdk. Solution 2: - Uninstall Java 8 from the Control panel -> Programs & Features on the device from which you want to run the java webstart console - Either install the previous version of java installed or install the one provided on the console page of your master: To download the JRE provided on the master then: - Access the console webpage from that that same device: https://<Masterhostname or Master IP>:1611/console (The default console port is 1611. In case ports have been customized the ports then use the respective console port) - Install the Java Runtime Environment to the machine |
