Testing the UDM's Data Management Load File path via ITSM's 'SYS:System Settings' form only successful when connected to the AR Server on the machine that hosts the Shared folder. The environment is using a 2 AR Server server group on Windows:
Creating a directory under the path "\\ServerA\C$\Upload\<loginid>" returned an errorcode of (33). Please check the server path is correct and that the current AR Server is permitted to Create/Delete folders/subfolder and files here. (ARWARN 48646)
The same error is seen when configuring this as non-administrative share (i.e. "\\ServerA\Upload\" instead of "\\ServerA\C$\Upload\"). |
This knowledge article may contain information that does not apply to version 21.05 or later which runs in a container environment. Please refer to Article Number 000385088 for more information about troubleshooting BMC products in containers. In this non-Domain environment, the issue was resolved by reconfiguring the AR System services to run under a named account (rather than Local System), which had access to the shared folder. For a similar issue in a Domain environment, the issue was no longer reproducible after granting full access to the Computer account of 'ServerB' to the security permissions of the shared folder (while still running AR System services under the 'Local System' account). The screenshot below shows an example of what this looked like in the security settings of the shared folder: |
