Problem

Atrium Integrator Spoon AROutput step doesn't update fields to NULL value.

Cause

This is because in currently available versions of Atrium Integrator, support for Keywords has not yet been built into the AROutput step.

Solution

This knowledge article may contain information that does not apply to version 21.05 or later which runs in a container environment. Please refer to Article Number 000385088 for more information about troubleshooting BMC products in containers.

There is an open Enhancement Request to introduce support for Keywords in this step.

Until then, a possible workaround is to:

"Modify AROutput and Update 'Duplicate Request Action' to 'Replace New record with Old Record' in Duplicate tab."
(The default is to update old record with new record's data and in this case, empty values are ignored)

Once Keyword support is added, then it will be possible to use the keyword NULL.

This is valid for all supported AR Data types.
