Problem

Post upgrade of ITDA from version 11.3.01 to 11.3.02, user is getting below error message in the itda.log file “Error while decoding licence key”

Note: The error message logged in itda.log file contains the word ‘licence’ instead of ‘license’.

Cause

A defect is introduced in ITDA 11.3.02 because of which decoding of product license from previous version fails.

Solution

1. There is an available Hot fix to address this issue, please go to the following link to get the hotfix:

2. Under Step 11 "Apply the IT Data Analytics 11.3.02.000.001 hotfix." user will find the download link and the steps to apply it.
