The following CAR00188260 is tentatively planned to be fixed in 9.0.18 Fix Pack 200. Until it is implemented, please use the below steps to address this problem Uninstalling and reinstalling Control-M/Enterprise Manager 9.0.18 Fix Pack 1. 1. Shutdown Control-M/Enterprise Manager by running the command: ctl -mcs -C Config_Agent -all -cmd shutdown (wait for this to respond that its been showdown, shout take no more than 1 minute) 2. From Windows Add/Remove Programs, locate 'Control-M/Enterprise Manager v9.0.18.100' and select uninstall 3. Once uninstall completes, run the Fix Pack installation again (as administrator) 4. After the installation, start the Control-M/EM Configuration Agent service from Windows Services Console. - This service starts the Web Server - Monitor the <InstallDrive>:\Program Files\BMC Software\Control-M EM\Default\emweb\tomcat\webapps\" folder, and within 1-2 minutes a few different folders get created, one of them is the automation-api. 5. Rerun the 'ctm session login' (and all other commands) and it should work fine. |
