You get below error while trying to perform a search in Track-It! 2020:

-SQL Exception when executing database statement: Criteria Query. [Core.DataAccess.006] at com.numarasoftware.footprints.core.dataaccess.DatabaseProvider$1.execute(DatabaseProvider.java:240) -java.sql.SQLException : SQL Server encountered error 0x8007042d while communicating with full-text filter daemon host (FDHost) process. Make sure that the FDHost process is running. To re-start the FDHost process, run the sp_fulltext_service 'restart_all_fdhosts' command or restart the SQL Server instance.


 

 

Go to services and make sure that this one is running: SQL Full-text Filter Daemon Launcher (MSSQLSERVER) Make sure to run this service with the same account as SQL server service is running with. Make sure that the FDHost process is currently running, the process can be found as SQL Full Text Host in Task Manager. In SQL Server , run the below query using SQL Management Studio, this command is used to restart the FDHost process: EXEC sp_fulltext_service 'restart_all_fdhosts' Is worth mentioning that the FDHost process can also be restarted giving a reboot to the SQL instance.

NOTE: Make sure to take a fresh backup of the database before performing the query.
