How do I obtain the latest service pack for Recovery Utility for VSAM V4.1.00?

The new service pack (SP4104) is a set of replacement libraries for your current RUV CNTL, DLIB, LOAD & SOURCE libraries.

The attached sample JCL (getruv4104.txt) can be used to download a PDS containing JCL to install the new service pack. Follow the instructions contained in the sample JCL and submit the job to obtain the PDS.

The instructions in each of the three members of the PDS should be followed and the three jobs should be run in sequence, as indicated by the numbers in the member names:

1) RUV01GET - Retrieve and uncompress the service pack libraries.
2) RUV02CPY - Copy password and modules that might have been customized from your current load library to the new service pack library.
3) RUV03RNM - Rename your current libraries for backup and rename the service pack libraries to your current library names.
