TrueSight Infrastructure Management Operations console error "Initialization of connection is in progress, or the connectivity was lost between the Infrastructure Management Server and the Presentation Server."
While Launching TrueSight Infrastructure Management Operations Console an error is encountered in the GUI
"Initialization of connection is in progress, or the connectivity was lost between the Infrastructure Management Server and the Presentation Server. "

TSIM 11.x
While launching the TrueSight Infrastructure Management Operations Console the following error is seen in the GUI

"Initialization of connection is in progress, or the connectivity was lost between the Infrastructure Management Server and the Presentation Server. "

However, the "pw p l" output shows all process running and "pw lic list" gives a Valid Output.
From the TSPS console, the TSIM component shows as connected

In TrueSight.log the following error is seen:

ERROR 03/06 11:59:56 Invalid              [ajp-nio2-127.0.0.1-8009-exec-4] Exception occurred in getIP:  Missing Resource String
java.net.UnknownHostException: <TSIM FQDN>

 
Unable to resolve hostname on the TSIM server
- Use the ping command to test the resolution of the TSIM Hostname. If a return IP address is not reported, it may be a resolution issue.
- Work with the Network Admin to resolve the DNS issue, so that the hostname returns the IP address of the TSIM server.
