Getting error when reading a large amount of rows in Spoon

Unable to get value 'String(xxx)' from database resultset, index 2
SQL Server returned an incomplete response. The connection has been closed.

Solution 1 for root cause #1:

1- Login to Spoon -->SCCM Product Tranformation-->Transformation Setting-->Miscellaneous
2- Set the No of Rows in the rowset from 10000 to 100000 and Feedback Size 50000 to 0

Solution 2 for root cause #1:

1- Add a blocking Step after the Input step to read all the records in memory. 
2- Check Pass all rows and set the cache size to 100000 (If needed this can be set higher but the DI Server memory may need to be increase)



Solution 1 for root cause #2:

Open Spoon from Jump server and test Connection to external DB multiple times. If connection sometimes work and sometimes don't, then customer has reverse connection on more than one gateway client on their side. Customer should have reverse connections configured for only 1 gateway client. All the other clients should have a config file without the reverse connection.

For example, Customer has gateway client running on desktop A and desktop B but only desktop A can access Onpremise DB, then when Spoon is connection using gateway on  desktop, the job returns "I/O Error: DB server closed connection." error. To fix this, customer needs to edit gateway config file on desktop B and remove reverse connection.  New config file have a section delimited with

All entry between the delimitation needs to be deleted.  This would be on config file used for  Desktop B. Desktop A config file need to have the reverse connection.
