An IBM IMS S0C4 abend might occur in module DLPXAPSx might occur when the following conditions exist:
·         You have any supported IBM IMS version installed.
·         You have the listed product version installed.
·         You run a CM IMS TM DELTA LIST RELOAD or IMS ACB OLC for an ACB that:
    • An existing DBPCB is removed from the PSB.
   o    The PSB contains a new PCB DBNAME whose DBNAME is greater than the DBNAME of the DBPCB that is removed from the PSB. Example: You delete a DBNAME beginning with B and add a DBNAME beginning with C.

Explanation

PTF BQQ5572 introduced this problem for the listed product version. To check your version, review message in the IMS Control region job log.

An abend S0C4 in DBPCBS subroutine of module DLPXAPSx occurs while updating the XREF hash table entries that are processed as a part of updates to an application and database. The problem is related to our internal XREF table processing during a DELETE of an existing PCB.
