Summary

The customer often will print a transaction dump from the Viewer to send this to another site for debugging. We have a print command to print an abbreviated version of the actual dump to a dataset.

Answer

1. From the 'Abend-AID Directory' panel in the Viewer, type 'P' for print next to the transaction dump and hit enter.

2. After you see the message of 'FDBSI1150I Report Written to Temporary Report File', type 'LIST' in the command line and hit enter.

3. From the 'Print Options and Initiation' fill out all information including the job card. Note: 'Print Output Options For:', will have the name of the temporary dataset name.

4. Type 'GO' in the command line of the 'Print Options and Initiation' screen and hit enter. This will route the dump to a temporary dataset that can then be printed.
