Problem

BMC System Performance for DB2 products not showing correct code page characters (example: ààDB2P translating to @@DB2P.&).

Cause

A terminal code page of 1147 is being used in ISPF. The report manager code is displaying trace record short names which are in EBCDIC 37. The long names should be used and converted from unicode to the terminal code page.

Solution

Remedied by PTF BQU4021 for BMC AMI Ops Monitor for Db2 V12.1.00 and BMC AMI System Performance for Db2 V12.1.00
