Problem

Control-M Application Integrator 9.0.20.100 Jobs on Control-M/Agent 9.0.20.100 with "Capture from job output" actions in the job definition, end with an incorrect Not OK status if the job output is 2KB or larger.

Following message can be found in the ctm/proclog/AT logs file :
1219 12:32:00:911 AT:xml element value too long: 7316

Cause

CTM-5688 - Job ended NOTOK or variables not created from job's output when AI or DB job with "Capture from job output" is executed and job output is larger than 2K after upgrade to Agent V9.0.20.100

Solution

CTM-5688 has been created for this issue and is resolved in version 9.0.20.200.
Install the latest available version to resolve this issue.

Until this is installed potential options to avoid this issue include:

If possible use the output handling feature instead of capture from job output
Reduce the output size created by application(s) being run by the affected job(s) to be less than 2KB per execution
