How to configure the BMC CSV data source plug-in for Helix Dashboards:

As a tenant administrator, use the BMC CSV data source plug-in to visualize data from any source that returns CSV data. This includes REST APIs, static servers, and local file paths. 

To configure the BMC CSV data source plug-in.

1. In BMC Helix Dashboards, navigate to Menu > Administration > Data sources

Note: Please reach out to BMC Support if the BMC CSV data source is not available.

       2. Select the BMC CSV data source plugin
 

      3. Set a name for the Data Source

      4. ​​​​On the SFTP section, provide the data connection as required:

-Remote file (.CSV file path located in SFTP)
-Host (SFTP URL)
-Username
-Password

Note: This is restricted to the SFTP BMC domain only

      5. Click on the Save & test button.

       6. Start creating a new dashboard by selecting the created Data Source.

E.g.: Data Source named as Test.

       7. Now the panel is ready to write SQL queries as follows:
