After upgrading to Control-M Application Integrator 9.0.21.100, job are stuck in an executing state and many log files in the proclog folder of the Control-M/Agent are created. Under the <Control-M/Agent for UNIX and Microsoft Windows Home Directory>/proclog folder, lots of log files are generated, the format of log filename is AI_SYSOUT_ONSTMT_<ORDER ID>_<RUNCNT>_<TIME STAMP>.log. The number of files could be up to thousands. This indicates the job stuck with executing has On/Do Statement which could not be processed properly. |
Alternate Solution prior to version 9.0.21.200: Step 1: Navigate to <Control-M/Agent Home Directory>/data/ Step 2: Backup AI.dat, and then edit the file by adding line below. CM_OUTPUT_FILENAME_TEMPLATE *DEFAULTThe change will take effect automatically. This only happens when the Control-M Application Integrator job uses an On/Do Statement and when Control-M Application Integrator is upgraded to 9.0.21.100 from an earlier version. It does not happen for a new installation of Control-M Application Integrator. Tracking Information: CTM-8544 has been created for this issue and is implemented in version 9.0.21.200 |
