After applying Mid Tier patch 20.02.05, two actions need to be taken:
Action 1: The arreportingapi91_build009.jar needs to be updated with the attached jar file (applicable for 20.02.05 & 20.02.06)
The jar file is located in the following directories:
<midtier root>/WEB-INF/lib
<AR Server root>/pluginsvr
Note: You should update the jar file on the <AR Server root>/pluginsvr directory even if the 20.02.05 patch has not been applied to the AR Server. However, if you apply the AR Server 20.02.05 patch later, you will need to replace the jar file again.
- Backup the existing arreportingapi91_build009.jar. Rename the file so that it does not have a .jar extension or move it to a new location.
- Replace the file with the attached arreportingapi91_build009.jar at the locations mentioned above.
- Restart the Tomcat service/process supporting the midtier
- Restart the AR Server service/process
Action 2: Update the LocalizedMessages files with the attached set of files (applicable for 20.02.05 only)
- Back up the <midtierroot>/resources/standard/javascript directory structure... compressing to a zip file is sufficient.
- In <midtier root>/resources/standard/javascript directory, delete all .js files starting with "LocalizedMessages". This should be 118 files Be careful not to delete the sub directories or the files, boomerang.js and bootstrap.js, within the ../javascript directory
- Copy in the attached "LocalizedMessages" .js files to <midtier root>resources/standard/javascript. Again, this should be 118 files.
- It is not necessary to restart Tomcat. However, the browser's temporary internet files should be removed after closing and reopening the browser and before logging into Mid-Tier.
