Track-It! 20.xx Directory Importer fails to import users from the Active Directory (AD) if the field that is mapped in AD has greater number of characters as compared to the corresponding field's character limit in the Track-It! Database. This mostly applies to virtual fields like Department, Location, etc.. Following Error can be seen in the ServiceManagement log file under ..\BMC\Track-It!\Logs\ directory on the Application Server: "Multiple-step operation generated errors. Check each status value." |
If you're running 2019 R3 or earlier and notice the Error with non-virtual fields being imported from AD as well like Name, Phone, Extension, Email Address and Custom Text, refer Track-It! Directory Importer fails if the mapped Active Directory field's character count is beyond the corresponding field's character limit. If you are experiencing this issue, please open a new support case and refer to Track-It! Defect number: DRZOZ-22568: "Track-It 20.xx: Department field not available in Technician Field Mappings." This specific issue is a part of the above parent defect.
