In Control-M Self Service, 'Archive search' only shows last 7 job execution days. Control-M Workload Archiving policy keeps job logs and sysouts for a year.

To show more data, click on 'Advanced..' button and select a different period in 'Period' field: 'All', 'Last Month', 'Last Year' or 'Between dates'

The default value 'Last week' cannot be changed. In order to show all job runs without changing 'Period' in search filter, type the job name in 'Search:' field. All job executions will be shown.

'ArchiveRetentionPeriod' parameter can cause confusion regarding the number of days Workload Archiving can keep data. There is no relation to the retention period defined in the Archiving Policies which are affecting the Archive Search and the retention of the actual data.

ArchiveRetentionPeriod: Determines the number of days to keep Archive data on the Archive server before it is removed. If the value of ArchiveLastRead is lower that the number defined for this parameter, then jobs are not archived.
Default: 7

The ArchiveRetentionPeriod system parameter is in case the Workload Archiving Server is disconnected and job logs and outputs need to be retained the connection resumes. Once it recovers communication, it will process the retained data up to the parameter value so job data will not be lost. This data is stored in dedicated database tables in Control-M/Enterprise Manager until it is processed.
