What are the differences between the BMC_BaseElement "Status" field vs AST:Attribute "Status" field ?

BMC_BaseElement Status field vs AST_Attribute Status field sync:

1. The purpose of the Status field in BMC.CORE:BMC_BaseElement is that all regular forms need to have a status default 0, so although it is not used in CMDB, this core field (Status) cannot be removed, the values [0-49] are just used for enumeration and not in CMDB, so you may safely ignore this field.

This attribute is an internal field that prevents users from creating an attribute with the name "Status." ;
Syntax: n (select from list) [0-49];

2. From the Asset Management perspective, there are many other possible statuses than just 'Deployed' or 'Delete'. A CI could be in Inventory or being assembled, etc. This attribute belongs only to AST:Attributes form or the AST join forms.

Both status fields, 'AssetLifeCycleStatus' and the BMC.CORE 'Status' are not synched bidirectionally as the purpose is different.
