When using the "ctmpsm -FULLUPDATE" command to update a job, existing In conditions, Out conditions and AutoEdit expressions are removed from the job definition. |
The -FULLUPDATE option parameter is officially not supported for external use.
The -FULLUPDATE option was added to the ctmpsm utility for CONTROL-M/WebAccess support.
The utility ctmpsm displays it in the usage, but it should not.
The following CAR was opened to remove this option from being displayed in the Usage of ctmpsm:
BMPM010442 - ctmpsm displays in the usage -fullupdate but it is not supported.
WORKAROUND: The following options are available to bypass this problem: 1) The correct use of this option is to set all parameters when using ctmpsm -fullupdate. 2) Update the jobs via the CONTROL-M/EM Desktop, write them to the EM Database and Upload them to the CONTROL-M/Server for Unix and MS Windows.
3) Use the ctmpsm utility Production Support Menu => Option 1 List All => Option Z Details => Input the <OrderID> => Search for the parameter to update => Enter Command or item Number you wish to toggle/change => Option X to Save. NOTE: RFE QM002391146 has been opened to provide a mechanism to update the job properties of jobs in the AJF ( Active Job File), at this stage we do not have any details about the plans on this enhancement request.
