How to change an Administrator password in BMC Client Management?
  • Go to Console>Global Settings>Administrators
  • Select the Administrator account on which you want to reset the password - make sure they are not using "External" (Windows NT/LDAP) authentication

  • Right click on the Administrator account:  
  • In the Properties window select the "Authentication" tab (make sure the type selected is "Internal" and the account does not authenticate through "External" means such as Windows Active Directory)

  1. Enter the "New Password"
  2. Re-enter the "Confirm New Password"
  3. Click "OK" at the bottom
Now the password for that Administrator account has been successfully changed.
