Is it possible to run a Synthetic Browser Driven Monitor (BDM)/AJAX script on a Transaction Execution Adapter (TEA) Agent running as a service when using TrueSight Synthetic Monitoring? |
This feature is now available using the Transaction Execution Adapter (TEA) Agent 11.3.03.01 and Silk Performer 21. Attached to this Knowledge Article is the following document: RunningTEAAgent11_3_03_01_SyntheticBDMScriptAsAService.pdf This document will explain how to set up a Silk Performer BDM/AJAX script and how to configure a Windows server to run a TEA Agent that is running as a service. Below is a link where Silk Performer can be downloaded: ftp://ftp.bmc.com/pub/tss/11.3.03/Silk21/ This location also contains a patch for the Transaction Execution Adapter (TEA) Agent (11.3.03.01) that will allow the 11.3.03 TEA Agent to run synthetic scripts created in Silk Performer 21. Please review the ReadMeFirst.doc file to learn how to install these new products. |
