Is the status field for AST:Asset forms supposed to sync up with BMC.CORE:BMC_ComputerSystem supposed to sync up. During the creation of an Asset deployed status is set to status 3 in  the BMC.CORE:BMC_ComputerSystem form. However, when we change the status in the Asset to another status, then it does not changed in the back end BMC Core form.

From 8.1 onwards, the AssetLifecycleStatus field along with other Asset fields have been moved from the BMC.CORE forms to the AST:Attributes form.

Due to this, you will see the current value for the AssetLifecycleStatus field on the AST:ComputerSystem form (Since this is a join of AST:Attributes and BMC.CORE:BMC_ComputerSystem forms).

Status field gets synced in AST:Attributes and not the BMC.CORE:BMC_ComputerSystem forms anymore. This was moved around the 8.1 time frame for Remedy.

Thus, you should refer to the latest AssetLifecyclestatus field value in the AST:ComputerSystem form and the one in the BMC.CORE form can be ignored.
