If many Control-M Agent utilities are executed, it might cause a bottleneck in the LG process, which is responsible to manage the Control-M Agent utilities.

Early versions of Control-M/Server the LG process has been improved, but it is still possible to overwhelm the LG thread that now runs in the CE process when many Agent utilities are executed.

Example errors when running a utility such as ctmorder:

Timeout occurred before Server responded.
Check if Server performed the request.
If so, use utility CTMAGCFG to increase 'Timeout for Agent utilities'.

Output:

Result: Failure.

In an OnPrem environment the following parameter can be increased.  Other KAs discuss specifics depending on the size of the environment.
In Helix environments it is necessary to work with R&D and the SRE team to consider updating this parameter on the customers tenant.
