On occasion errors may be found in the FootPrints System Log (Administration | System | Logs) with the following error: The FootPrints Service Core schedule service, which handles background processing (email, escalation, etc.), has been unresponsive for the last 10 minutes. This is only a warning and may not be a sign of a problem. This could be due to a large job being processed (for example, a database import or a large amount of email). In addition, outgoing email messages from FootPrints may not be received and are actually not sent. With email debugging enabled at "Administration | System | Debug Manager", the following may be found multiple times in the C:\FootPrintsServiceCore\etc\debugging\SendMailNTDebug.txt file on the FootPrints application server: perl version: 5.010000; OS: MSWin32; SMTP_ENCRYPTION_METHOD: TLS; smtp_host: smtp.office365.com; SMTP_PORT: 587; SMTP_LOGIN: footprints@mycompany.com; ENVELOPE_SENDER: ; SMTP_HELO_NAME: The contents of the SendMailNTDebug.txt file normally contains content of outgoing messages sent from FootPrints, making the above entry highly abnormal. |
