How to track the status of a defect or of an RFE? How to get notified when an RFE is released? |
As of February 2026 there is no system in place to notify user of a new status for a defect or RFE. It's always good to start by searching the release notes for:
1- The defect or RFE is attached to a case If the defect/ RFE is linked with the case then it can be tracked by accessing the same case from BMC Support Central - The end user who opened the case has to login with their credentials in BMC Support Central
2- Customer needs an update from BMC:
The Discovery Support is not allowed to share release plans. Customers must reach out to their account manager with the defect or RFE number, as only them or product managers are allowed to share release plans. |
