Problem

Sometime, the Control-M/Enterprise Manager Client 9 with any Fix Pack is not getting any update from its Control-M/Server 9.

The jobs are running fine in Control-M/Server but the Workload Automation is not getting any update.

In the CE log found:

Cause

The SAP server is sending the messages to Control-M using a non Latin1 codepage, in this case UTF-8.
When the messages reached the TR, this will forward the string to CE and this is not able to understand the content of the message.

Solution

The following CAR was created to address the above senario:

CAR00100695: Contol-M/Server stops updating jobs at Control-M/Enterprise Manager when using PGSQL on Windows and connected to a CM for SAP

CAR00100695 is resolved in Control-M/Server 9.0.00 Fix Pack 4. Please install Control-M/Server 9.0.00 Fix Pack 4 to resolve this issue.
