Track-It!'s Directory Importer fails to import users from the Active Directory (AD) if the field that is mapped in AD has greater number of characters as compared to the corresponding field's character limit in the Track-It! Database. Following Error can be seen in the ServiceManagement log file under ..\BMC\Track-It!\Logs\ directory on the Application Server: "Multiple-step operation generated errors. Check each status value." |
Upgrade to 2020 R1 or later version in order for this issue to get fixed. Refer Track-It! 2020 Upgrade Checklist for assistance with the upgrade procedure. Even after Upgrading if the Directory Importer still fails, the Track-It! field into which information from AD is being imported might be one of the virtual fields like Department, Location, etc.. Refer Track-It! 20.xx Directory Importer fails with "Multiple-step operation generated errors. Check each status value." Error for more details. NOTE: Once Track-It! has been upgraded, the Directory Importer will not fail, but the Data of the AD field will get truncated as per the corresponding field's character limit in the Track-It! Database. |
